Chiswick Park

That's where i spent my Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day...at a friend's friend's house at Chiswick Park. (Thanks to you guys, Gerry and Sam, i didnt have to spend my last few days alone, and it means alot to me)..

So yea, i spent those days at Dana's house, Sam and Gerry's friend....it was 6 of us guys, the 5 of them Indonesians, and me, the odd Malaysian...(for the few days, i was such a jealous indonesian wannabe coz of their uber cool indon accent..ahhh!)

What did we do the whole time?...haha!...ironic..
all the way the other side of the world, and we were playing Winning Eleven the whole time!!!...(well, over here, they call it Pre Evolution Soccer, and that was the only difference), but yea..Wining Eleven, Eat, Sleep, Winning Eleven, Eat, Sleep, Eat, Sleep....hahaah!..at least it was better than spending Christmas alone :)

On Boxing day, (today), i woke up early, (coz i fell asleep early), and went out for some photography in the neighbourhood...it was a beautiful morning...

Thanks again guys, you have no idea how far such a small gesture goes...cheers!

This is Anthony...
(well, a drawing of Anhony...or rather, a photo of my drawing of Anthony...well actually, a image on your computer screen of the photo of my drawing of Anthony....or, hahaha!)

Anthony is one of the many many homeless ppl that live out there on the streets of London..He's been living out there on and off for about 3-4 years now.

The reason i wanted to draw again, was because, i didnt want to get a part time job during my Christmas break to get money...coz i thought it was a waste of my time and my skills in art and design...so, i figured i'd draw and try to sell my drawings, hoping that i'll make some good money from there...havent sold this yet, but i'll let you guys know....

Why homeless ppl?..well, why not?..
to cut the long story short, most pencil artists draw important ppl, celebrities, models, and friends and family...well, i do that too...but one day i thought, "hey, not many ppl like to draw the homeless....why not?.."...so, i decided, i'd do it...and seriously, why not?..
*think about it*
isit because they're hopeless scums, who brought their fate upon themselves?..
because they screwed up, and they dun wana do anything about it, contented with getting sympathized and given spare change?

well, i'd like to see them the way God sees them...and He sees, we're no different from them, and them from us..
so again..why not?

Sejuk?..

Cold?...you bet!..and they say its only gonna get colder...
That day was one of the first with frost, so yea, we were playing outside, taking pictures and stuff...
Also, i'm still amused with the 'smoke' that come out of my mouth when i speak and breathe and stuf..ahaha!..
(what?!....i'm Malaysian lah...Malaysia where got such thing..Genting oso not much liao)

The people in the photos are my friends, Richard and Annabel...Rich's my best mate here..

It aint easy being away,
aint easy not having friends and family from home nearby,
aint easy living in ridiculous weather,
aint easy having so little daylight,
aint easy having so much work to do, but no one to do it with,
aint easy thinking that once this holiday is braved i have to start all over again,
aint easy not being able to have home cooked food,
aint easy not being able to just go out to get a tan,
aint easy not being able to eat Malaysian food whenever i want,




it aint easy....


...but its possible...

Waaa...so stressed..

Sorry that i havent been updating much here, and that's coz i've been so so busy with my work..when ppl from church ask me how my week was and what i did, i always say, "oh, i was busy, doing homework"...that would be my answer everytime!
coz, its true!

anyway, yea, 2 projects...first one, i have to write and design a book (minimum 40pages), and i have to create a website..and i have to come up with everything in it... (basically, alot of work)..

spending alot of time working on my projects, but not enough lah..
back when i was in KBU, i would spend SOOo much time on my work, now, i dun spend as much, so i need to get back to that, i need to buck up..

so yea, getting busier and busier here..its getting colder and colder (it might have been below zero that day)..

missing homecooked food!!!

missing friends and family!!!

but all's well though, i'm having the time of my life here, and there's no need to worry for me, i'm doing fine..

hopefully i'll be able to show you more of my work in the future, so you can see what i'm talking about..hahah..

Sorry guys, but for now, you have to settle with a Coming Soon blog update, instead of an actual Blog or Vlog from me...

Anyway, i'm planning to come up with a Vlog that will talk about the Pound Sterling, coz everyone's been asking me about it, so i figured, i'd make a Vlog, that will explain my experience here with the Money Matters...

I've actually got photos that i wana put up here, but Picasa isnt Mac friendly, so it takes extra long for me to manage my photos here..they're the photos that my parents took while they were here in London, and on their Europe Tour..that's coming soon as well..

School's started, and i missed the first week!

Yea, that's right..school started last week, but i only enrolled this Monday, and when i went for my first class on Tuesday, apparently its already week 2!!..i missed a WHOLE WEEK!!...

but nah, i found out, the REAL stuff starts this week, so i'm quite fine...at the beginning i was really really lost coz i didnt know what i was supposed to do, where i was supposed to be, who i was supposed to meet..all that..but its all pretty much settled now..

its 2:45pm on a Thursday evening..the weather here's alrite, gettin colder and colder everyday..pretty neat experience i must say...i've never worn so many clothes and not be soaked with sweat inside it before..its always something new everyday here in London..haha..

my internet's not up yet, and i dun think its gonna be up anytime soon...so for the time being, i'm using the public coms in my school...(actually spesifically designated for emailing only, hahah!)...but yea, i'll try to get my next vlog up soon, (no promises tho)..
